Two barges launched in Uljanik (516/13128 and 517/13129)

On 9th February 2015 two barges (Tratank 82 and Tratank 83) for the transportation of crude petroleum and petroleum products constructed by ULJANIK for the shipyard 3. MAJ, i.e. for the Swedish Company Wisby Tankers, were launched from slipway no 1. The godmother for launchings was Ms. Tanja Gortan, expert assistant in the Controlling Department of Uljanik d.d., who launched both barges into the sea with the cutting of the ropes. It is with great pleasure and honour that I am participating today in the role of godmother for a double launching.

I am grateful for the trust shown in me by the owner of the barges, Wisby Tankers and the Management Board of ULJANIK Brodogradilište. I am sure that with my cutting of the rope I will always remember this moment in which I have become a part of such an important event in the construction of every ship, stated the godmother Ms. Tanja Gortan on the occasion of the launching.
